Country Walks

You'll soon start to soak up the Dorset atmosphere. First thing you’ll notice how quiet it is. Not too many cars pass through the lane, but listen and you’ll hear the sounds of the countryside: the clip-clop of horses from the local stables, birdsong in the morning, the hooting of the local barn owl at night.

And if you’re up early on a summer’s morning, don’t be surprised if you catch sight of a deer and her fawns in the garden. A word of warning though—the local farmers really do farm, so occasional tractors, muck spreaders, and harvesters are part of the rural scene too!
