Our Accommodation
Relaxation is easy at Michaelmas House Stables and your stay will be a comfortable one. You can create your own ambience—the audio-visual system will happily accept your ipod—and the widescreen TV with a library of DVDs is available for your personal use. In the winter, you can curl up on the sofa with a good book, or just watch the logs glowing gently through the clear glass window of the wood-burner (high levels of thermal insulation and double glazing ensure you’ll be snug).
Living Room
With its arched entry, and its floors and vaulted ceiling in traditional English oak, the living area is as comfortable and solid as you’d expect in an English country home. The wood-burning stove provides focus for the room and, with daylight streaming through three skylights (or warm up-lighting at night), you’ll have a sophisticated space in which to enjoy some well-deserved down-time.
Bedroom
The simple but comfortable open-plan mezzanine bedroom is accessed via an elegant spiral staircase with wooden treads. It features a king-size bed with a high quality mattress for extra comfort (if needed, the sofa converts to a double bed too). A fully tiled luxury shower room with stylish fittings and an electric shower completes the picture.
Kitchen
Whether you’re a gourmet cook or just need to whip up a snack after a day on the beach, you’ll enjoy using the fully featured designer kitchen with ceramic hob, multi-function oven fridge, and dishwasher.
Courtyard
Outside, the Stables boasts a sunny brick-paved courtyard where you can take tea (or drinks), sit and read, or just sit. Take a stroll round the paddock as the sun sets and breathe in some fresh country air. You will unwind effortlessly.
Parking
You park your car off-road outside your front door. Your bicycles, should you bring them, can be stored securely indoors on-site.
