Welcome to Michaelmas House Stables. We offer top quality luxury accommodation for two people (occasionally up to four) in the heart of the Dorset countryside, close to the village of Furzehill. Whether you’re looking for a week or two of country life, or just an indulgent long weekend, you’ll start to unwind from the moment you walk through the door.

We have everything you need for a relaxing break away from the city. The setting is rural, but the accommodation is comfortable, stylish and contemporary. You can enjoy a range of excellent local pubs and restaurants or, if you cook for pleasure, make yourself at home in the fully fitted kitchen. Either way, a courtesy hamper with home-made jam and local produce will be waiting to greet you—so you can settle down as soon as you arrive. Should refreshment be needed after a tiring trip, a bottle of white wine and two glasses will be chilled and waiting for you too.

When you’ve begun to unwind, take a look around. You are in the heart of the English countryside; Cranborne Chase and the pretty country town of Wimborne are just a short drive away. The spectacular Dorset coastline, with its quiet coves, unspoilt beaches, and wonderful opportunities for walking, is close at hand. So is the New Forest National Park. For urban pursuits, Bournemouth with its concert halls, cinemas, clubs, and restaurants, is within easy reach too.
